Volunteering at ABA Connections

ABA Connections is looking for passionate, dedicated and creative individuals to support our social services! If you are looking for a rewarding, fun, and meaningdul way to make a difference in the lives of children and youth with special needs, then we want to hear from you!

 

Types of Volunteer Positions

 

Skill-Based Social Group

Skill-Based Social Group Volunteers facilitate skill development through the supporting of peer interactions, modeling of tasks, and facilitation of activities.

Leisure-Based Social Group

Leisure-Based Social Group Volunteers support participants in group environments with a variety of activities from arts and crafts, to music and movement, to board games and video games!

Direct Support to Clients

Individuals looking for a more in-depth experience in the field of ABA can apply to be a Direct Support Volunteer who help ABA Therapists and the Clinical Team run low ratio and classroom programming.

Summer Program

Volunteers looking for regular, but not frequent, volunteer positions are ideal canditates for, Summer Program Volunteers who assist in full-day programming on days where school is out.

Special Events

Whether its at our Halloween Party, Open House, or a Movie Night Respite Evening, Special Event Volunteers commit to "one-off" days to ensure top-quality events are available to clients and the community.

March Break Program

Our one week long March Break Volunteer position is perfect for individuals who want to make a lasting impact by supporting and facilitating individual and group activities.

Admin Support

Admin Support Volunteers assist with a variety of tasks around the center from filing paperwork, organizing supplies, inventory, and so much more!

Material Prep

Material Prep Volunteers help with cutting, gluing, laminating, sorting, and organzing materials for events, social groups, therapy and other programs offered at ABA Connections.

PA Days

Volunteers looking for regular, but not frequent, volunteer positions are ideal canditates for, PA Days Volunteers who assist in full-day programming on days where school is out.

Learn to Play Social Group  – Every Monday beginning May 8th to June 26th, 2023 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm

Teen Hangout Social Group  – Every Tuesday beginning May 9th to June 27th, 2023 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

Tween Hangout Social Group  – Every Monday beginning May 9th to June 27th, 2023 from  6:00 to 7:30 pm
